Our services

Accounting, bookkeeping and tax, handled properly.

From the day you register your business to your latest VAT return, we keep your finances accurate, compliant and working for you. It all comes with a fixed fee, agreed before we start.

01 · Bookkeeping

Bookkeeping that’s always up to date

Good bookkeeping is the foundation for everything else: accurate accounts, the right tax bill, a clean VAT return and KPIs you can actually trust.

We keep your books in the cloud and connected to your bank, so your numbers are current whenever you need them, not just once a year. Monthly updates suit most businesses. If you want a live view of how you’re doing, we can update them weekly or even daily.

Already behind, or inherited a mess? We’ll tidy it up and get you current, without judgement.

02 · VAT

VAT, sorted from registration to every return

With VAT it’s easy to overpay, and just as easy to pick up a penalty. We make sure neither happens to you.

We can usually complete your VAT registration in around 30 minutes. From there we put you on the scheme that suits you best, file every return accurately and on time, and keep checking that your scheme still makes sense as your business grows.

Good to know: you must register for VAT once your taxable turnover goes over £90,000 in any rolling 12-month period. Registering voluntarily below that can make sense too, and we’ll tell you honestly whether it’s worth it for you.

03 · Accounts & corporation tax

Year-end accounts and corporation tax, done together

Every limited company has to file annual accounts with Companies House and a company tax return, the CT600, with HMRC. We prepare both side by side.

That means we can talk you through your corporation tax bill, and the legitimate ways to reduce it, before anything is filed. No surprises, no last-minute scramble and no missed deadlines.

Corporation tax at a glance: profits up to £50,000 are taxed at 19% and profits over £250,000 at 25%. In between, marginal relief applies. Estimate your bill →

04 · Self Assessment

Self Assessment without the January panic

Sole trader, partner or company director taking dividends: whichever you are, we prepare and file your tax return accurately and tell you what you owe well before it’s due.

We make sure you claim every expense and allowance you’re entitled to (and nothing you’re not), explain payments on account so they don’t catch you out, and get you ready for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax if it applies to you.

Deadline: online returns are due by 31 January after the end of the tax year. We aim to have yours finished long before then.

05 · Start-ups

Starting a business? Start it right.

The decisions you make in your first few weeks can shape your tax bill for years. We’ll help you get them right.

Should you be a sole trader, a partnership or a limited company? We’ll run through the numbers with you, explain the pros and cons in plain English and handle the registrations. Then we’ll set up bookkeeping that’s easy to keep on top of from day one.

06 · Management accounts

Numbers that help you make decisions

Year-end accounts tell you what happened last year. Management accounts tell you what’s happening now, while you can still do something about it.

Because your books are kept up to date in the cloud, we can turn them into clear, regular reports that show how your business is really performing. We’ll help you track the KPIs that matter, plan ahead for tax and think about the future when you’re ready to grow.
