Who we are

This website is run by JL Dennis Ltd, trading as JL Dennis Accounting, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 12108010). Our registered office is 3 Childwick Green, St Albans, AL3 6JJ. For the purposes of UK data protection law, we are the controller of the personal information described in this notice.

What we collect

We only collect the information you choose to give us when you fill in our quote or contact forms, email us or call us. This may include:

• your name, email address and phone number
• your business name and basic details about your business, such as its structure, approximate turnover and the software you use
• anything else you tell us in your message

This website does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies.

How we use it

We use your information to reply to your enquiry, prepare a quote and, if you ask us to, take the steps needed to begin working with you. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us, and taking steps at your request before entering into a contract with you.

We will not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

We use trusted service providers, such as our email provider and, where used, our website form provider, to receive and store enquiries on our behalf. They may only use your information to provide their service to us. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires us to.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry information only for as long as we need it to deal with your enquiry. If you become a client, our engagement letter explains how we hold and use your information from then on.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete
• ask us to delete your information, or to restrict how we use it
• object to us using your information
• ask us to transfer your information to someone else, where applicable
